Good Ol Boys Class (Stock Stock Stock)
Body
- Remove all glass, mirrors, plastic, and decking in wagons
- NO-Sedagons or prebent body panels
- Deck and hood 80% stock location
- Anything can be removed nothing can be added
- NO WELDING NO WELDING
- Hood and deck lid will be open for Tech
- For doors, hood, deck lid, and tailgate you get 2 pieces of number nine wire per seam 4 loops per wrap
- All body mounts will remain O.E. No changing bolts at all if you have a broken bolt 1 piece of wire down throught the floor with 4 wraps through the puck C.
Drive Train
- O.E. fit (brand to brand) IE GM to GM, Ford to Ford, What was in the car is what you need to be running
- Bolt in only NO WELDING this includes motor mounts to frame
- Rear-ends O.E. to car Spider Gears only may be welded
- You are allowed a floor shifter and allowed stacks
Frames
- NO WELDING AT ALL
- 100% O.E. on body mounts
- O.E. Suspension and steering
Driver's Compartment
- One saftey bar per car in fromt of the dash or behind the seat
- Drivers door must be padded
- Gas tank behind the seat, battery on passenger floor--MUST BE SECURE!!! 1/16 of play is not acceptable
- NO trans cooler other than the O.E. radiator
Bumpers
- O.E. what the car came with stock is what you need to have on there
- NO WELDING
- Shocks must still be out and working May be drilled
- One piece of chain per side BOLTED from the mount around the bumper to a bolt down there
Misc
- No restrictions on tires.
- This class is stock stock stock!!!
- It should only take you 2 days to build a car for this class--NO WELDING!!!
- Fire Extinguisher Required.
Compact Class
- Read Open Weld Class (below).
- Must be 4 or 6 cylinder.
- Open to any 4 or 6 cylinder car
- No stock gas thank from under the car must have approved fuel cell
- Fire Extinguisher Required
Open Weld Class
Any sedan or agon you may releaf any car you want 32 leafs MAX total which means no more than a total of 32 leafs on your car!
Body
- Pre bending allowed as long as officials can see under or beside. No welding of pre bent parts
- All trim glass mirrors, and accent plastic must be removed completely
- A 30" hole in hood over carburetor
- 1" ready tod to hold hood and trunk down, wagons 4 in rear door
- NO RESTRICTIONS ON BODY MOUNTS
- From firewall to center of rear axle anything goes
- Fire Extinguisher Required
Driver's Compartment
- 4 points cage
- drivers door must have inner padding for protection
Frames
- What goes on inside of you car is none of our concern. This eliminates a lot of controversy
- Bumpers may be welded to up to 4" past body mount. Do it right we don't want these falling off.
- Seam welding only outside the firewall to center of rear axle
Fuel Tanks and Batteries
- Stock tanks must be removed
- Steel tanks only and must be securely mounted and covered 1/16 of play is not tolerable
- Battery must be sevurely mounted
- This is all officials discretion DO IT RIGHT
Drive Train
- Motor must be in stock location
- Radiator in stock location
- Electric fuel pumps allowed-double clamped and must be securely covered. Toggle switch within reach of the driver. Must be identified with BOLD RED or WHITE letters
Suspension
- You may convert over to leafs 32 leafs max
- Suspension must bounce to officials satisfaction
- Safety chains or wires maybe used on rear coils to avoid falling out
- No air shocks
Tires and Brakes
- No restrictions on tires
- BRAKES MUST SHOW THE ABILITY TO STOP
Misc
- No Added iron to the car for any reason with the exception of the for-mentioned rules
- Must have a roof number plate
Truck Class
- See Open Weld Rules
- Must be 2 wheel drive
Kids 12 & Under Compact Class
